Henryk Szamota Award

This award was created in 2003 in the name of Henryk Szamota to be presented annually at the NARRC banquet to the NARRC participant who

"has shown the qualities of character found in Henryk Szamota – the founder of NARRC.  Those qualities are Competition, Sportsmanship, and above all being a Gentleman or Lady."

The award winner is to be picked by the Region hosting the banquet at which it will be presented.  It was decided that the host Region could not pick someone from their own Region.
